Stadiums in Japan: Kumamoto Stadium (KK Wing)

Kumamoto City, Kumamoto Prefecture

Kumamoto Stadium is a very attractive and modern facility, which was used by Belgium as a training center for the 2002 World Cup. Although it is not football only, it is a very pleasant venue for matches, and the running track is not as wide as some other multipurpose facilities. The stadium has a unique design, with twin arches extending from the apex of the stadium wall along both sidelines, covering about half of the stadium's total seating capacity. The stadium is not home to any J.League clubs, though JFL candidate Rosso Kumamoto play their home matches in the stadium
