Austria confirm squad for Israel tie
First Published: Aug 27, 1998Austria have announced their squad for the Septmber 5th tie agaionst Israel in the European Championships qualifiers.
As expected Andreas Herzog is missing through injury while Arnold Wetl is also absent. Striker Harald Cerny can celebrate his new contract with TSV 1860 Munich in the Bundesliga with a place in the squad.
Goalkeepers - Wohlfahrt, Knaller.
Defenders - Feiersinger, Hiden, Neukirchner, Pfeffer, Schoettel.
Midfielders - Kuebauer, Maehlich, Reinmayer, Schopp, Stoeger, Heraf, Amerhauser.
Forwards - Cerny, Haas, Vastic, Mayrleb.
