AS Roma offer £9 million for Flo

AS Roma have offered £9 million for Norwegian World Cup star Tore Andre Flo.

The Italian giants have been refused permission to speak to the 24 year old striker who scored a memorable goal against Brazil in a 2-1 win for Norway last month. Chelsea insist that the player remains with them and that they are keeping all 15 internationals, many of whom took part in the recent World Cup, and that Flo is not for sale.

The Norwegian has failed to maintain a regular place in the Chelsea starting line-up and competition for places is intense. Roma will bank on dissatisfaction with the situation leading to another bid for Flo before the end of the year.
