Tore Andre Flo underlined his soaring value to the national side with the equaliser in this match against an Egypt side who performed very well for much of the game.

The proceeds of the match will go to help victims of the rail disaster last month that claimed 40 Egyptian lives and injured more than 300 more and the national side can be proud of a fine attacking display in the first half. They buzzed through and around the powerful Norwegian defenders but failed to make their moves complete with accurate shots on goal They looked a team in form during the first session and worthy African champs.

Outstanding forward Hossam Hassan hit the ball into the net from a low cross in the 40th minute. Flo - always the most dangerous attacking option for the visitors - rose to guide a header wide and into the goal at the start of the second half as Norway produced a more aggressive secong session.
