November 18th date confirmed for Yugoslavia and Ireland

Yugoslavia have been told by UEFA that their Euro 2000 qualifying tie against the Republic of Ireland will now take place on November 18th.

The game was postponed ten days ago after fears for safety of players travelling to play in Yugoslavia amid threats by Nato to use force to evict Serb troops from the disputed territory of Kosovo.
