Hoddle and Shearer win damages for 'row' story

England coach Glenn Hoddle and captain Alan Shearer have won £60,000 in damages after a newspaper article printed an inaccurate and misleading account of a dressing room argument between the two men after the 3-0 win against Luxembourg.

'The Sun' retracted the story last weekend in an article on its sports pages and the pair are expected to donate the money to charity.
