Real Madrid consider Panathanaikos bid for Suker

Real Madrid are considering an offer from Panathinaikos for World Cup Golden Boot winner Davor Suker.

The Croatian star has had a difficult year in Madrid with the European champions but proved his worth with fine goal scoring displays at the recent World Cup in France that helped to carry Croatia to a third place finish last July.

There are doubts over his fitness though and new coach Guus Hiddink would welcome the £8 million fee the Greek side are willing to pay to land Suker. Personal terms may be difficult to agree however for the 30 year old.
