The Northern Irish fans booed their players from the pitch after a late equalisr for the home side.
The disappointed Irish punters had seen their team dominate large stretches of this freindly but fail to make the most of poor Canadian defending.
The visitors had a poor first half with goalkeeper Craig Forrest looking particularly unsteady but the weak Irish attacks failed to expolit this edge until the last minute of the game. Feyenoord defender Brad Parker scooped the ball past Forrest to tie the score while under pressure from debut substitute Paul McVeigh.
Canada had taken the lead when Paul Peschisolido had set up sub Marc Bircham for a 67th minute header after a neat cross on the run.
