Schalke 04 sign up Sand

Schalke 04 look set to bring Danish international striker Ebbe Sand to the Bundesliga in the summer.

The Gelsenkirchen club have agreed a £2.5 million deal with Brondby to sign Sand in July. The striker has scored in each of Denmark's last three internationals. The 26 year old top scored in the Danish SuperLiga last season to earn a trip to the World Cup where he scored in the 4-1 win over Nigeria in Paris.
