Sporting Lisbon to buy Mbo Mpenza

Sporting Lisbon have made £2 million offer to Standard Liege for Belgian international striker Mbo Mpenza.

Liege have already opened talks with Anderlecht to sign Enzo Scifo as Mpenza's replacement.

The 23 year old is due in Lisbon this week for a medical and to finalise personal terms with Sporting.
