Liverpool see scoring return from Fowler after injury

Liverpool recalled striker Robbie Fowler today after three months of injury.

The England international has been playing regularly for the past three weeks in the Liverpool reserve team to recover fitness after a knee ligament operation to mend strained muscles last September.

Fowler came on as a 75th minute substitute and scored the third goal in a comfortable 3-1 home win against Wimbledon to keep his club in 4th and well in contention for at least a European place from this Premiership season.
