Bordeaux book Dugarry for return

Bordeaux are to sign their former striker Christophe Dugarry from Olympique Marseille.

The former AC Milan and FC Barcelona player has been sold by OM for £4.5 million.

Dugarry is negotiating a four and a half year contract with Bordeaux and is expected to finalise the deal in the next few days.

The French international started his career at the club in 1988 and has been targeted for abuse by the OM fans since failing a dope test earlier in the season and his return to the first team has seen an alarming dip in the club's league form.
