Alfonso injured again for Betis

Real Betis striker Alfonso Perez could miss the next three months of the season with knee ligament damage.

The 1-1 draw with Racing Santander - the game was celebrated by Betis for the first Denilson goal for six months - saw Perez carried off and he is no longer in contention to play for the national side in two Euro 2000 qualifiers against Austria and San Marino next month. The 25 year old was part of the World Cup squad in France last summer.
