Liverpool midfielder Oyvind Leonhardsen is advertising himself on the internet in an attempt to find a new club.
The Norwegian international has seen his career collapse since the Anfield club bought him from Wimbledon for five million pounds and is desperate to move. The information on his web page asks for interested clubs to contact Liverpool or his agent and contains his playing record with club and country.
A big obstacle to any move will be the Norwegian's attitude to wages. He can make more playing for Liverpool reserves than almost all European clubs can afford and his lack of first team action for the past eighteen months does not make him a top target. Liverpool want to reduce the largest wage bill in England by selling off unwanted players like Leonhardsen but the money they have paid to them makes them hard to shift.
