Tottenham will try again to sign Irish international striker Robbie Keane.
A four million bid was rejected by First Division side Wolverhampton Wanderers last November but the London side are ready to nearly double that figure to seven million pounds to buy the 19 year old who is wanted for next season. Any bid will depend on Wolves' bid to reach a promotion play-off competition at the end of the season. If they fail then Tottenham are sure that Keane will be sold and they lead the interested clubs. Wolves are six points adrift of qualifying for the play-offs.
