Juventus set sights on Dino Baggio return

First Published: Jan 20, 1999

Juventus have begun planning for next season under coach Carlo Ancelotti and want former midfielder Dino Baggio to return to Turin.

Baggio has spent the last four years with Parma AC and is chasing the Serie A title this season with the provincial club. He is a regular in the international side and was highly regarded by former Parma leader Ancelotti in his spell with the club.

He would cost at least £10 million but is a favourite of the new Juve coach and could be tempted to work again with him in Turin. Baggio is not exactly on the transfer market though and is only thought to be considering a move back to Juventus rather than other offers as working with Ancelotti again appeals to him.
