UEFA have granted Wales permission to play their June 9th Euro 2000 tie against Denmark in Cardiff.

Welsh players and officials had lobbied for the move believing that the side would get more passionate support at Cardiff's Ninian park ground rather than the original venue for the tie, Anfield.

The Welsh national team has been using Liverpool's Anfield ground for home matches while a new national stadium is being bulit in the Welsh capital.
