Baggio set for glorious Italy recall

Italian superstar Roberto Baggio is on track for a recall to the Italian national team.

His excellent recent form for Internazionale has proved that the inspirational striker has lost none of his ability and he is expected to be named by Dino Zoff in the squad for a friendly in Pisa against Norway on February 10th.

Baggio played in the last World Cup for Italy but was dropped for the quarter final against Norway last June in Marseilles which Italy won 1-0. He is the leading scorer amongst the current active Italian players in contention for the national side with more than forty goals.
