Liverpool reject offer for Leonhardsen

Liverpool have rejected a £2 million bid from Sheffield Wednesday for Oyvind Leonhardsen.

The £6 million signing two seasons ago from Wimbledon has failed to command a regular place in the Liverpool first team but has continued to make sporadic appearances for the Norwegian national team. Liverpool would want to recoup more of the money spent on the 28 year old than Wednesday offered although they are looking for buyers for Leonhardsen and many other players in their squad.
