New Inter hope Vieri has press call in Milan

Internazionale have presented their new record breaking striker Christian Vieri to the press in Milan.

Vieri - signed for £31 million from SS Lazio two weeks ago - looked happy and relaxed and was joined by former Inter president Massimo Moratti to talk to reporters.

Vieri was still happy after the Australian World Cup win in the cricket at Lord's on Sunday and assured reporters he wanted a long stay in Milan.

"Milan is a beautiful city and I hope to stay here a long time " said the 27 year old who had moved eight times in the last nine seasons.

He has signed a five year contract with Inter which will pay him £8 million a season.
