Fiorentina complete Chiesa signing

Fiorentina have completed the signing of Italian international striker Enrico Chiesa.

The Florence club have paid £12 million for the Parma AC player who spent two years with the UEFA Cup winners after a £9 million move from Sampdoria in 1997.

Chiesa will join new signing Fabrizio Ravanelli at La Fiore alongside Predrag Mijatovic who joined last week from Real Madrid. Fiorentina are in talks with Parma to sign their striker Abel Balbo whose possible move has been broken away from the Chiesa transfer to be negotiated separately.
