Latvia joined Norway at the top of group two after this dull draw.

Both sides were poor and the Latvians were unwilling to take advantage of Greek changes after the resignation of coach Anghel Iordanescu on Saturday.

New man in charge Vassilis Daniel saw a battling performance from his side but they failed to hold much decent possession in the final third of the field and had come to establish defence to frustrate the home side and produce a draw.
