Celtic sign new deal with Wieghorst

Glasgow Celtic have agreed a new three year contract with Danish midfielder Morten Wieghorst to keep him at the club.

Wieghorst's contract had been due to expire next month and Everton and led the chase to sign him under the Bosman ruling. The three year package ends any speculation on the player who helped Celtic to win the league title last season but whose campaign this year has been interrupted by a cruciate ligament injury which has been treated successfully.
