Italy confirm Euro 2000 squad

Italy coach Dino Zoff has announced his squad to play two Euro 2000 next month.

AS Roma target Vincenzo Montella is named for his first international honour and Juventus-bound Bari midfielder Gianluca Zambrotta is included.

Italy play Wales on June 5th and Switzerland four days later.

The squad in full -

Goalkeepers - Buffon (Parma AC) and Toldo (Fiorentina).

Defenders - Cannavaro (Parma AC), Maldini (AC Milan), Negro (SS Lazio), Nesta (SS Lazio), Pancaro (SS Lazio), Panucci (Real Madrid), Pessotto (Juventus).

Midfielders - Albertini (AC Milan), Ambrosini (AC Milan), Dino Baggio (Parma AC), Conte (Juventus), Di Francesco (AS Roma), Fuser (Parma AC), Giannichedda (Udinese) and Zambrotta (Bari).

Strikers - Chiesa (Parma AC), Inzaghi (Juventus), Montella (Sampdoria), Totti (AS Roma) and Vieri (SS Lazio).
