Juventus confirm Van der Sar signing

Juventus confirmed in Turin an hour ago that they had signed Ajax Amsterdam goalkeeper Edwin Van der Sar.

The Dutch international - due on a tour of Brazil next week - has moved to Turin on a four year contract under the Bosman ruling. His Ajax deal ends next month and he has signed to play for Juventus. The move frees Juve to sell Angelo Peruzzi to Internazionale.
