Sheringham returns to the national squad of 22 for the first time since the World Cup in France last summer. His goals helped United complete their treble and the 31 year old was instrumental in raising United to their historic finish against Bayern Munich in the Camp Nou on Wednesday night.

The same squad will travel to play Bulgaria in Sofia on June 8th.
