Quinn back for Ireland

First Published: Nov 16, 1999

Sunderland striker Niall Quinn has come through a fitness test for the Irish Republic in Bursa and is set to start their Euro 2000 decider with Turkey.

The tall veteran missed the 1-1 first leg draw in Dublin on Saturday night with a neck muscle injury suffered in the warm up before the game. He has trained since though and will partner David Connolly in the Irish attack.

Midfielder Mark Kinsellsa returns from suspension to start the match.
