Hutchinson comes through Scottish test

First Published: Nov 16, 1999

England have a fitness worry over central defender Martin Keown before tomorrow night's Euro 2000 decider with Scotland.

England lead by 2-0 coming into the last competitive game ever at the old Wembley stadium and Arsenal defender Keown is suffering from a calf strain.

Scotland midfielder Don Hutchinson is the main injury worry for team coach Craig Brown but he came through a fitness test in London today and is a likely starter. Rangers winger Neil McCann is tipped to start the match with the Scots needing at least a 2-0 win to force extra-time.
