Manchester United captain Roy Keane has made Juventus the favourites to sign him at the start of next year.
The Irish international is free to listen to offers from clubs after January 1st after rejecting a final pay offer from United. The 29 year old's contract with the treble winners ends next summer and United are now unlikely to receive a transfer fee if their captain leaves under the Bosman ruling.
That has led to speculation that a deal or pre contract agreement has been reached with a buying club that will compensate United and see Keane leave in the summer. Juventus have offered £60,000 a week plus bonuses to the United star which is nearly twice the wage offered to the Irish international by the treble winners.
Juventus made progress with the transfer is August and are expected to offer the terms at the start of next year which will see Keane accepted and end seven years at the Manchester club.
