Israelis went to prostitutes before play-off says press

Israeli newspapers have linked their team's 5-0 defeat against Denmark in Tel Aviv on Saturday night to visits to prostitutes in the build up to the game.

Israel play tonight ion Copenhagen against a powerful Danish side have ;little chance of scoring the goals needed to take them to their first major football finals since 1970.

The 'Maarlv Daily' newspaper has reported that the squad spent time with prostitutes before the first game after training when coach Shlomo Scharf believed they were resting.
