Moldova team coach quits

Moldova national team coach Ivan Danilyants has quit after a poor Euro 2000 campaign.

The coach resigned three months before the end of his contract after only two wins in 13 matches since he took over in 1997. The country finished last in Group Three of the Euro 2000 qualifying campaign.
