Lithuania bring in new coach

First Published: Oct 07, 1999

Lithuania have appointed a new coach two days before they complete their Euro 2000 programme with a game against Scotland.

Roberto Tautkas takes charge of the national team in a game that has little meaning. Scotland's 1-0 win over Bosnia-Hercegovina on Tuesday night ensured their play-off place for November and goal scorer John Collins will miss tomorrow's game with injury.

Kestuthis Latozha quit his job last month and Tautkas has now taken charge.
