Parma AC are the latest club to be linked with West Ham central defender Rio Ferdinand.
The young England player gave a magazine interview this week to say he was prepared to leave the London club if they did not win a trophy next season and was watched by AC Milan director Franco Baresi last month.
21 year old Ferdinand would cost at least £17 million in the transfer market but is well suited to continental style play with ambitions to emerge as one of the top sweepers in the world game. West Ham's failure to find any consistency is starting to unsettle the defender.
