Holland have brought back Dennis Bergkamp and Boudewijn Zenden for the friendly next week against Scotland.

Coach Frank Rijkaard was asked by Arsenal to rest the striker - who will retire from international football after the Euro 2000 finals - following several troublesome muscle injuries. Bergkamp missed the 3-3 draw last month against Belgium but is a likely starter against the Scots.

FC Barcelona's Zenden was also injured for that match as were Atletico Madrid forward Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink and Pierre van Hooijdonk.
