Sousa brought back into Portugal squad
First Published: Apr 22, 2000Parma AC midfielder Paolo Sousa has been recalled by Portuguese national team coach Hunberto Coelho to play against Italy next week.
Sousa has plenty of Italian experience with spells at Juventus and Inter Milan before a move in December to the Parma club. Paolo Bento is also recalled for the match.
The squad in full -
Goalkeepers - Espinha and Silva.
Defenders - Xavier, Costa, Couto, Teixeira, Severo and Jorge.
Midfielders - Bento, Sousa, Vidigal, Rui Costa, Figo, Conceicao, Capucho and Costinha.
Strikers - Joao Pinto, Gomes, Sa Pinto and Resendes.
