Juventus coach Carlo Ancelotti has moved to end speculation that the Turin club are to sell striker Filippo Inzaghi to Internazionale in the summer.
Juve lead Serie A by five points but need a win against Verona tomorrow to set up a 26th championship. Any slips by La Vecchia Signora will see SS Lazio come back into ttile contention.
Inter want Inzaghi to continue last year's Italian national team partnership with Christian Vieri next season. The Milan club know injured Brazilian star Ronaldo is at least eight months away from playing alongside record signing Vieri and want cover in their forward line.
Ancelotti denied that he was rowing with Inzaghi - who was brought to Turin by current Inter coach Marcello Lippi - and that he did now want the forward sold.
