Celta Vigo end Djorovic suspension

First Published: Feb 15, 2000

Yugoslav international Goran Djorovic has made peace with Celta Vigo as the club end their indefinite suspension of the defender.

Djorovic clashed ten days ago with Celta coach Victor Fernandez after he was asked to move from the centre of defence to play as an emergency left back.

The player has been linked for the past two months with a move in the summer to Real Madrid and is still expected to move from Celta after this season but the club have ended their indefinite suspension which was handed to the player last week along with a fine of £14,000.

Djorovic has returned to training and Fernandez' handling of the situation has been backed by the club's board.
