Thirteen referees to take charge of Euro 2000

UEFA have issued their choice of Europe's referees to take charge of the European Championships.

Euro 2000 kicks of on June 10th with the final taking place in Rotterdam on July 2nd.

The officials will be based as a group at a hotel outside Brussels during the competition and will each be taking charge of several matches. UEFA have reduced the number of referees from the 24 used in Euro 96 and have also appointed 16 assistants to run the line. There will be four fourth officials overseeing matches and compiling their own reports for UEFA.
