Italy have suffered two more withdrawals from their squad to face Sweden in Palermo tomorrow night.

Coach Dino Zoff has ruled out midfielder Antonio Conti and Diego Fuser with muscle strains and has called Gennaro Gattuso into the squad and selected Eusebio De Francesco with both players moving up from the under-21 side. Zoff dropped AC Milan midfielder Demetrio Albertini from this latest squad and has not called on the Milan player to fill in after the two injuries to midfielders.
