SS Napoli are keen to sign Romanian striker Danu Viorel Moldovan.
Moldovan has 20 goals in 46 matches for the Romanian team and plays currently for Turkish club Fenerbahce.
Fenerbahce are to be coached next season by Euro 2000 team manager Mustafa Denizli and Moldovan is not part of his plans for the club.
Moldovan spent a season in the Premiership with Coventry City after making his name in Belgian football but he was not a sucess in England. He moved on to Turkey and Napoli - newly promoted to Serie A - are set to bid £3.5 million to sign the striker.
The Naples giants are also interested in bringing Moldovan's Romanian team mate Constantin Galca to the Italian top division. Midfielder Galca would cost around £2 million to sign.
