France captain Didier Deschamps says he is to retire form the national team after Euro 2000.

Chelsea midfielder Deschamps led France to their 1998 World Cup win and will earn his 100th cap tomorrow night in the first semi final at the Euro finals against Portugal in Brussels.

Deschamps is interviewed in today's 'Le Parisien' and says it is time to end his career with the French team after more than ten years and could earn his 101st cap if France reach the Euro 2000 final on Sunday night in Rotterdam.
