Dutch agree to rest Bergkamp from Belgium game
First Published: Mar 24, 2000Holland have heeded Arsenal's request to rest striker Dennis Bergkamp from their international friendly against fellow Euro 2000 hosts Belgium next week.
Bergkamp is to quit the national team after the European championships and his season so far has been patchy after several injuries. PSV Eindhoven star Ruud Van Nistelrooy is nursing a long term knee injury and will not be back in contention for Frank Rijkaard's selection until May.
PSV defender Andre Ouijer has returned to the squad after missing six months with a broken ankle.

Goalkeepers - van der Sar and Westerveld.
Defenders - de Boer, Ooijer, Bogarde, Konterman, Numan, Reiziger and Stam.
Midfielders - Winter, Cocu, Bosvelt, de Boer, Seedorf, van Bronckhorst and Davids.
Strikers - Makaay, Kluivert, Overmars and Hasselbaink.
