Real Madrid have ended striker Nicolas Anelka's suspension from the club but he will miss the first leg of the Spanish club's Champions League quarter final against Manchester United next week.
The French forward - Real's record signing last summer at £23 million - was banned for 45 days after refusing to train for three days in a row over team tactics.
The 20 year old will return to team training next week after the first United clash following a public apology yesterday and talks with Real officials earlier in the week.
The club say that the £400,000 loss of earnings imposed as a fine by them still stands so Anelka will not be paid even if he returns to the first team soon.
