Valencia lose Ilie for a month with muscle tear

Valencia have ruled Romanian striker Adrien Ilie out of their Champions League quarter final against SS Lazio.

The Spaniards start the two game series next week but will not have the influential Romanian in their side.

Ilie was injured in the 1-0 league win over Real Mallorca last weekend and has torn a thigh muscle which could rule him out for the next five weeks.
