Slovenia finalise squad for Euro 2000

Slovenia have named a 22 man squad to compete in Euro 2000.

Its is the first major tournament for Slovenia and they reached the finals in Belgium and Holland by beating the Ukraine in a play off. The finals start on June 10th and Slovenia are at a training camp close to the capital city Ljubljana at the moment.

The squad in full -

Goalkeepers - Mladen Dabanovic (Lokeren), Dejan Nemec (Murska Sobota) and Marko Simeunovic (Maribor).

Defenders - Aleksander Knavs (Tirol Innsbruck), Spasoje Bulajic (Cologne), Marinko Galic (Maribor), Darko Milanic (Sturm Graz) and Zeljko Milinovic (LASK Linz).

Midfielders - Milenko Acimovic (Red Star Belgrade), Ales Ceh (GAK Graz), Saso Gajser (Ghent), Rudi Istenic (KFC Uerdingen), Amir Karic (Maribor), Miran Pavlin (Karlsruhe), Zoran Pavlovic (Dinamo Zagreb), Dzoni Novak (Le Havre), Zlatko Zahovic (Olympiakos) and Anton Zlogar (Nova Gorica).

Strikers - Milan Osterc (Olimpija), Mladen Rudonja (Truidense), Ermin Siljak (Servette) and Saso Udovic (LASK Linz).
