Denmark drew level with virtually the last kick of the game.

Defender Ole Tobiasen smacked the losse ball into the net in a crowded penalty area as Denmark pressed forward to save something from the game.

A clever finish from Stephane Chapuisat after a neat turn and run had put the Swiss side into the lead but the longer the game went on the more the Danes gathered momentum for their forward push it seemed more likely that the Danes would find the target but the Swiss only had seconds to hold on when the Danes scored from an unlikely source.
