Portugal's Brazilian coach Luiz Scolari is a tough talking hard-man who will be relishing the pressure on him as his side face a do-or-die clash with Russia on Thursday.

Rui Costa and Fernando Couto are almost certainly at their last tournament after years of service to Portugal. They were both in the side that won Under-20 World Cup in 1991.

Henrik Larsson's second goal of the evening came from a flying header as Sweden engulfed Bulgaria in a five goal spectacular.

The Bulgarian defence were taking no chances on this attack but went 1-0 down to Sweden in the 32nd minute when Freddie Ljungberg slotted home from close range.

Italy's defence are famously solid and the Euro 2004 version held their line well during the opener with Denmark on Monday, the match ended 0-0.
