Nigeria push for fines after training absences

Nigeria have reported Arsenal and Chelsea for their refusal to allow squad members to train with the national side over the holiday season.

Both clubs face fines from FIFA after striker Nwankwo Kanu and defender Celestine Babayaro were held back from training as Nigeria prepare for the January 22nd kick-off in Ghana of the African Nations Cup.
