Collymore rejects try out at Montpellier

Montpellier have axed plans to sign Aston Villa striker Stan Collymore.

The French club arranged a practice match this morning for the striker to play in but the former Liverpool player refused to take part and instead flew back to England.

Aston Villa have been trying to arrange a loan deal for the player since he returned from a three month spell in the First Division with Fulham.
