Rangers linked with move for Baggio
First Published: Dec 30, 1999Glasgow Rangers have been linked in the Italian press with a move for out-of-favour Internazionale star Roberto Baggio.
A reduced fee of £3 million could see Baggio on his way to Glasgow to join the Scottish champions after recent rows with Inter coach Marcello Lippi over his lack of first team action this season.
The 32 year old slammed Lippi two weeks ago claiming that he rejected a move to Chelsea and interest from other clubs in the summer because he was assured of some first team action with the Milan giants but Lippi has excluded him from his plans for the first eleven despite injury problems for the Inter attack.
